Entry 0003::Cliff Diving in the Dark
Standing on the cliff, the ocean roared below, spray stinging my face. Cliff diving wasn’t the plan, but lately, life felt like a series of unexpected turns. Here I was, teetering on the edge.
A personal blow rocked me. Grief, a heavy anchor, dragged me down. It took time, but the current shifted. The weight remained, but its grip loosened.
This shift turned my gaze inward. It felt like exploring a forgotten room — dusty memories, cobwebs of doubt, a jumble of emotions. Childhood joy, past regrets, lingering disappointments — each discovery a puzzle piece revealing a more complete picture of myself.
The exploration wasn’t easy. Dark corners held things I’d rather avoid, hidden depths threatened to overwhelm. But with each step, a sliver of light pierced the darkness. I unearthed hidden strengths, a wellspring of resilience.
Now, at the edge, fear is real. The unknown below is vast. Yet, the inner exploration, though daunting, holds the promise of self-discovery. Maybe the challenge isn’t the jump, but the courage to turn inward, face the shadows, and embrace the chance to grow.
This might be a leap of faith, but I’m ready. The path ahead might be unclear, but maybe the journey itself is the destination. And on the other side, a stronger, more self-aware me might just be waiting.
